About Me
Hello, I'm Ann. I'm from Kharkiv, Ukraine but live in Wrocław, Poland and study here. I'm an outgoing, friendly and a little bit crazy person, who likes underground culture, film cameras and extraordinary places.
This year I live in a flat with my BF Alex. We can host 2 people max in 1 room for disposition.
As a guest, I'm not very demanding and I can speak with you in Russian, Ukrainian, Polish or English without problems. Also I'd be very glad to learn and practise other languages.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a good way both to meet new friends and to feel any city or country from inside, not like a tourist. It's also a wonderful opportunity to change different skills and cultures with each other and see that the life in our world is colourful:)
Interests
I like my hobbies, but now don't have enough time.
Actually, I like traveling and have been to a lot of beautiful places. I have some film photo series, but after buying a new mobile phone started filling my Instagram profile with pictures of Wrocław and Lower Silesia region.
I attend some interesting concerts, too, enjoy some cozy atmosphere or gigs full of energy with d-beat tracks (although, the second ones are rare in Wrocław IMHO).

Music, Movies, and Books
I have been listening to various types of music, the most favorite now are Russian and US hip-hop, but there are post-punk, trap, psychedelic, metal, experimental styles etc in my playlist.
Favorite films? Dramas and psychological thrillers of the 90s - exactly! Some comedies as well
My favorite books are science fictions, like Ray Douglas Bradbury's ones. Unluckily, because of study and work I don't have time to read books, and they must be so interesting that I won't become asleep :D
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am proud of becoming financially independent at the age of 18. It happened when I moved to Poland, when my parents couldn't provide me with everything I needed. Now I both study and work.
Teach, Learn, Share
In my opinion, Wrocław is a must-see place, it has many interesting sights, it has also many students from all over the world. I am a student, too, study Tourism and Recreation in one of the universities, so I can show you "classic" things to see such as some UNESCO objects or take you to a wonderful non-typical trip. Also, you can write to me and tell what do you want to see or do and I would plan as you wish.
At school I have been learning Russian and Ukrainian and won many competitions related both to these languages and literature, so can teach you some words/phrases writing and speaking as well. I have lived in Poland for 2 years, and also can teach you Polish:)
