About Me

Hey there! I'm originally from northern Italy but have been living and traveling abroad in the last few years.
I love singing, cooking, baking, any kind of books and movies and I am a open-minded person that appreciates interesting conversations. I genuinely believe in sharing, be it information, a meal, or a smile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a couchsurfer because I think that it is a unique possibility to get to know new places and people not from the tourist perspective, but from the point of view of a local. And I try to give exactly this back when showing people around in the place where I live.

Music, Movies, and Books

Difficult to say, there are too many!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cycled from Austria to Armenia. It was simply amazing and the trip is still ongoing...

I went to search my ancestors in Poland and actually found them by using an adress on a 50 year old letter. It was the best experience of my life to stand in front of a closed door in a town I didn't know before at one moment and to find myself drinking coffee and eating cake in the living room of an old lady who turned out to be my grand-auntie in the next moment. Their hospitality and love was overwhelming!

I went on an Erasmus year to Bangor, Wales. That was one of the most enriching experiences I've ever had! I met so many wonderful people, learned to appreciate different cultures and ways of living (and cooking ;D) and traveled a lot.

I cycled from Vienna to Belgrade and from Ljubljana to my hometown in Southtyrol and discovered that cycling is exactly the right speed for me to travel - not too fast and not too slow.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to write your name in nordic runes, some basic knitting and crocheting as well as recipes for dishes from very many countries. Also, I can share loads of random knowledge and am generally happy to sit together over a nice meal and just talk.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I speak several languages and I love improving my language skills and those of the people I meet by having long conversations. And I bake delicious cakes ;)
