Overview
About Me
I studied clarinet here in Salzburg, fell in love with the town and the nature surrounding it, so I’m still here :)
I’m a fan of klezmer music, so whenever I can, I play with my band and participate klezmer festivals around Europe.
I also love to travel, take photos and discover other cultures, I love to meet people from all over the world and share stories and music with each other.
In my free time I love to spend time with my friends, go hiking or just watch a good movie together.
In the future I would like to travel more and play more music (because I got a bit disconnected to my music in the last year) and make it to a whole new level with a stronger connection between music and travel.
I also would like to volunteer in Asia for several months to teach and share music with children in need.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me traveling is so much more, than just see new places. I mean, see something new every day is already amazing, but to really get to know a place, you need to meet the local people. And Couchsurfing is the perfect platform for this. Sharing your traveling experience with locals, takes that experience to a new level, you will get a deeper understanding of the local culture, community, cuisine and so on.....
So that’s why I’m couchsurfing, because I really want to get to know the places that I’m visiting:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went on a street music trip with my guitarist friend without any money in our pockets. We traveled from Salzburg through half of Italy and Swiss and we played klezmer music on the streets. It was quite an amazing experience for me :) Playing my favorite music and earning some money with it, that always made it possible to travel to our next stop. Thanks to couchsurfing we met lots of great people. I hope we can do something like that again.
We also wrote a blog about it, you can check it out:

An other unrelated pretty amazing thing I’ve done was when I climbed the Adam’s Peak in Sri Lanka :)
