I'm an italian girl who is beginning to make some travelling experience. Till now, I always stayed in hostels or stuff like that, but it doesn't really connect you with the place you're visiting. So, I want to try to make couchsurfing, which I never did before, in order to learn something new about other cultures and places I'll visit.

I love cats and books. When I'm at home I really like to sleep a lot, but when I start a journey I spend all my energy because I don't want to lose experiences.
I'm an extrovert person and I can talk and listen for hours without get bored. That's like a superpower in school.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

By now, I'm on Couchsurfing because me and my boyfriend, who also is on Couchsurfing and name is Nicolò Brugnara, want to see the north of Europe. We thought this could be a great method to meet people that live in there, having a more real experience.

In general, I think that this is a very revolutionary way to travel, which give you the possibilities to understand a new culture and all that is connected to it, like food, religion, manners, etc.

Actually, I'm too young for having a house on my own and host people, but if this experience will be as extraordinary as it looks like, I'm sure that in the future I will pay my debts.

Interests

Actually, I'm pretty curious about psychology and similar. Maybe my future will be linked with this discipline, but I think I'll decide after a travel and some work experiences.
As I said before, I love cats and books, and I also like painting. I'm interested in strange facts too, like the little things which are always ignored by people.
I can't make a real list of my interest because there is nothing actually pratical, but only mental-abstract things.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is rock and in general the "old" music, like The Beatles, Bowie, Pink Floyd, etc, but even some "modern" groups like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arctic Monkeys, Muse.
Personally, reading books is my favorite hobby. I read all genres, from Palahniuk to Dostoevskij, but my favorite book is The Lord Of The Rings by Tolkien.
I like cinema too, even if it's not my passion.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think that teaching and learning are connected to each other. One person can't teach without learn and viceversa; and in the end, this is all about sharing. I think that sharing time with people of other cultures is for definition a great way to teach and learn. I think it's a consequence of couchsurfing, and I hope that in the end I would had been able to share something.
