I’m originally from Kansas City, MO, now in grad school in Manhattan, KS studying Interior Architecture and product design. I love all things design, art, history, geography, and sustainability. Eventually I would like to move abroad and be a furniture designer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 8th grade I had the amazing opportunity to go on a class trip (after MUCH fundraising) to Belize with the Program for Belize, where we stayed in the rainforest for a week of learning about that ecosystem and current conservation issues, and on St. George's Caye for a week snorkeling and learning about the ocean. It was pretty life-changing. On the mainland I almost fell off the top of a Mayan Pyramid and my friend grabbed my shirt and saved my life, and then a lizard by our feel had a seizure and died in my friend's hand. I'm still trying to figure out the meaning of this event 10 years later.
