About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet interesting people who have something to teach me (i.e., everyone) and experience the world.

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty introverted person and can be kind of shy sometimes, but I generally like people. I'm getting my Master's in Library Science. I like to read and am really interested in language in general. I love cooking and will make dinner for you if you ask. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite memories from studying abroad in China is waking up in the tiny village next to Bai Shui Tai (White Water Terraces). It's near the borders with both Tibet and Myanmar, and it's pretty middle-of-nowhere; the residential area's streets were too small for cars, and me and my friends stayed with a really nice woman who had a few extra rooms in her (traditional Naxi) house. She also cooked all of our meals for us, and it was DELICIOUS. Bai Shui Tai is also a unique land formation that you should google a picture of, because it's so surreal-looking.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you all sorts of yummy (vegetarian, vegan, or meat-containing) recipes, how to say a few words in Chinese, or what your Myers-Briggs type is. I would love to practice my Chinese with you, if you speak it!
