Hi. I am Anna. I am a lawyer currently taking a break from professional practice to write a PhD. I live in Geneva and I am looking for inexpensive and creative ways to get away once in a while and meet local people where I go. My usual go-to option for meeting people while travelling was AirBnB but since I am on a budget now, I have decided to try Couchsurfing:)

My current apartment in Geneva is too small to host anyone reciprocally, otherwise I would definitely do so.

I guess a lot of people join this platform when they are young cause it allows them to travel cheaper and discover the world through meetings with interesting people.

Me too! I am young (always young at heart) and in my current PhD researcher role (read: limited budget) I would love to be able to travel and connect with people through this platform.
