Moreover, I'm easy-going, and can easily support your ideas of hanging out together (of course if you have time for that! If not, my own company is always good for me too:) )
- an English teacher and I adore my job! I've been a teacher for about fifteen years now (OMG I'm getting old!) and it's the best job in the world (for me!): learning all the time, meeting very different personalities and finding individual approaches, feeling rewarded every day (surely if you put your soul!), making a difference (without a doubt). It's my calling. I wish everybody could feel that. It's truly wonderful!
- married to a great man Ivan for quite a lot of years, and we're happy together. We don't have children yet, but we have a really cute dog called Ray :)
- mostly I travel around my country (it's really beautiful!!!), but I have a strong desire to open the world (I believe CS will kindly help me with it :)
- I love meeting new people, having exciting conversations, cycling, fishing with my husband, walking for long distances, visiting interesting places, eating delicious food, brewing and drinking coffee, and doing lots of other different things!
- I love smiling. I do it all the time (sincerely! which is very important), and some people even say that they've never seen me without a smile (I hope it's not true because it'd be weird:) ).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To tell the truth, I've read about CS in one of the English textbooks and was fascinated that someone came up with such a brilliant idea! As I see it, it's the best (and maybe the only) way to learn the real authentic peculiarities of local life. It's a super exciting chance to exchange and share experience all over the world! And I want to be a part of that!

Music, Movies, and Books

- I love music which sounds good at a particular moment:) Mostly I prefer rock (indie, alternative, classic), but can listen to any genre depending on the situation and company.
- I enjoy movies which make me think and use my imagination (one of such is 'Mr Nobody'); almost everything directed by Tim Burton.
- Books can grab my attention by exciting plot, deep sense and big size (a joke :), but I really read very fast, so short stories end too quickly for me). The last books which absorbed me were The Dark Tower by Stephen King and Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching English and also sometimes I'm trying to teach people how to live (but I try not to bother them). I'm a super optimistic person and I try to share my optimism and positive energy with everyone around me. My mother has always said that I should try to teach as many people as possible to live happily (as she always does). So I do it, and I enjoy it! (And the other people too, mostly:) )
