Overview
About Me
I'm a Korean-American that has lived abroad in multiple countries for the past 16 years, trilingual and suffering from a serious case of the travel bug....
I have a passion for justice and tend to embark on adventures with teams to help where I can. Mainly with orphans, the homeless, victims of abuse, victims of trafficking, etc.
CS is a new adventure of sorts. I was deathly afraid to initiate conversations with anyone new and now I'm mustering up the courage to meet mainly new people and hear their own wonderful stories!
Caution! I am quite shy at first.. but once I get talking, I am an open book.
Honest to a fault. I will not judge anyone for their beliefs or way of life.. unless you are actively committing crimes against the voiceless and powerless for whatever reason..
Couch surfing may not be the right platform for you..
However, if you are aware of your imperfections and trying to make better decisions in life, attempting to see the good in all. I'm sure we will get along fine :)
I travel to experience culture, people and food.
My love language is most definitely quality time with amazing food from hole-in-the-walls to popular and trendy restaurants with great company :) and of course.. paired with good wine or beverages! It definitely doesn't hurt if the surroundings are breathtaking too! And I am quite the walker... I love wandering and just taking in everything and cafe lounging, watching people go about their day.
But do bear with my few minutes of shyness...
I will get over it once I get over the anxiety of meeting someone new :)
Please DO NOT request that I add you as a friend on CS unless we have met or at least had a good flow of communication back and forth. I like my friendships to be genuine and not superficial.
Keep calm and travel/host like a decent human being 😎

Books: TOO many.. seriously.
Quite the bookworm and dream of having a library like Belle in Beauty and the Beast (Childhood favorite).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've worked with NGOs and areas of social justice for the past 10 years.
This is my passion. To be a voice for the voiceless.
I've eaten A scorpion.
I'm a survivor.
I've made it this far though I'm allergic to UV rays (ha-ha.. i know.. "vampire")
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn languages and hear about others experiences and encounters in life but also to share my own.
I could also teach English, Chinese and Korean.. if time allows then boxing?
But mainly I like to share my love for food and hit up secret hide away mom and pop shops along with trending must eat locs.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Different perspectives, friendship, real conversations, Korean or American home cooked meal, humor, stories and an ear to hear or.. someone to walk aimlessly around with for peace and quiet :)
I am working on my OCD.. i plan things to a T but after making a set itinerary I have a tendency to be overtaken by life and go where the wind takes me.. I'm pretty fun to be with... well thats what people tell me anyway ;)
