Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decide to change something. I don't know exactly what it will be but I think that meeting new people from the whole world, exchange experiences, cultures, languages and cuisine might help to find new direction in my life :-)

Interests

- Travelling - Usually I am looking for unique things around and in my city/region. When you arrive to Lodz I will show you incredible places you have never dream about!

- Books - My library is getting bigger and bigger every journey I have. I am collecting especially guide books and brochures and literature about mountains (Polish writers are really good at that, especially from 70-ties, 80-ties)

- Balkans (especially Jugoslavia)- It was love from the first sight :-) Now I am studying slavic studies and learning about the region that I fell in love.

- Zumba :)

- Trekking - Polish mountains are really differentatied and beautiful. If you have a plenty of time it is absolutely a must to see even a part of it.

Music, Movies, and Books

- Music - jugoslavian rock, polish rock from 80ties, 90ties, songs that I can dance zumba :-)

- Books - guides :-) I am crazy about it!

- Movies - I rarely looks movies (mostly comedies and actions). I like series (criminal, medical e.g. Greys Anatomy, Bones, Breaking Bed)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Now I am doing my "mountain project" - I am trying to climb the highest peak every cordillera of Poland. There are 28 peaks to climb, now I have a half. Maybe next spring or summer I will finish my job :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Polish of course :-) It will be hard work but could be also interesting experience.
I know very well main tourist attractions of Poland. If you are going to Poland, have questions about this country (culture, language, cuisine, where to stay, what to at al.) - just ask! I would love to tell you about it :-)
