About Me
UPDATE
I've been conflicted about reinstating my account after the policy changes during COVID but here I am :D
I miss couchsurfing and am excited to get back into it.
Hosting
I currently live in a tiny room in a small shared flat in Munich so I can only host whenever one of my flat mates isn't home and there's a free room. Do reach out though and I'll see what I can do! As I am currently preparing for the bar exam I don't have too much time to show you around during the week but I'm happy to hang out on weekends :)
About me:
"The cities of the world are calling to me, and I want to live them all. I want to leave tiny pieces of myself in every corner of the world. A citizen of nowhere, but belonging everywhere"
I'm currently finishing degrees in Law and Middle Eastern Studies in Munich, work in a research project on peace building efforts in Lebanon and Afghanistan and volunteer in a project for youth participation and education on international affairs.
Hard facts aside I love trying out new sports, checking out new bars/cafes/museums or going on spontaneous trips. I practice martial arts and just got into climbing. I also recently started to learn snowboarding and am overall a huge fan of the outdoors.
I'm always looking for a new adventure,
something new to learn,
a new memory,
another experience,
the adrenaline rush of overcoming your fears.
I love diving into other cultures,
hearing about the opinions of people around the world,
being surprised by all the small differences in the daily lives of people you would not expect to find.
I love black coffee and new food,
exploring places and late night drives for nothing,
wandering the streets and sitting on rooftop, talking about life at 4 a.m.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's an awesome concept! Living with a local gives you the opportunity of really getting to know a city - not just the touristy perspective. You can experience a culture first hand and learn so much about countries, life, yourself, ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
6 day trek up Mount Roraima in Venezuela, the highest table top mountain in the world - crossing rivers, hiking/ climbing up a waterfall (yes, really!), through thunder storms, desert like heat and freezing rain falls.
Wait, strike that actually travelling to Venezuela in general during the economic crisis and civil uprisings was pretty amazing or well... adventurous is probably a more fitting word.
