I'm a 2nd year college student from Florida! I'm currently working towards my degree in Animal Sciences and will apply to veterinary college afterwards. I just spent 5 months in Spain studying abroad and developing my Spanish conversation skills.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My best girl friend and I are taking our dream vacations during our semester abroad in Spain! I am always excited to meet new people, especially locals, and hear everyone's stories and advice. I feel like there is an infinite fountain of wisdom to be gained from getting to know strangers. I aim to open my home to couch surfers when I return to Florida in order to pass on all of the kindness my friend and I have received during our travels.

Interests

I am a nature junkie. Hiking is one of the best things in my life because I believe it mentally, physically, and spiritually charges you. I also love to bum it out on the beaches in Florida! There's nothing like sticking your feet deep into the cool sand and listening to the waves continuously crash.

I'm very dedicated to my future career, which is working with animals. You will often find me following the meow of a cat on the street or staring at a bird in a tree. I love all animals, of all kinds, so being asked which one is my favorite is probably the toughest question I've ever received!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have no favorite music! My music taste is very expansive, spanning all genres and decades. I love classic rock, early hip hop, classical music, and even folk rock! I'm always interested in exchanging songs and artist recommendations!

I haven't had time to watch many movies recently, but I do have some all-time favorites such as Forrest Gump, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Fried Green Tomatoes. I also am a huge fan of the Harry Potter series, and I don't plan on that ever changing!

I have taught myself a lot of holistic substitutes for toxic everyday necessities! I would love to talk and share recipes or tips with anyone interested! I also LOVE to eat healthy and make juices/smoothies. A wise coworker of mine once shared his juicing recipe with me and it has changed my life ever since. I have never felt so healthy and alive!
