Overview
About Me
I’m a graphic and UX/UI designer, visual artist, cyclist, coffee lover based in Budapest, originally from Serbia. I changed my job recently and started working full remotely so I’m pretty new in solo travelling. Thx to the CS community my first solo trip was a next level experience, I met amazing people and Im very grateful for that!
About me: I’m super easy going and talkative person, always happy to meet new people, have nice conversations about life, travel experiences or anything else, exchange some culture, language and recipes. I have a masters degree in Media design and am into installation art mainly, I build giant sculptures (and then store them, which is the most challenging part 🤣) My favourite area is Eastern Europe and the Balkans, my craziest stories are from there, also this topic have inspired many of my artworks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We’ve been hosting each other with my friends from Serbia for 10 years across different cities and countries, where we lived, also I like meeting people from different cultures and hear about places I might have never thought about visiting so why not to mix ✨
I am not on Couchsurfing for saving on accommodation. I am here because I think that tourism industry is killing the pleasure of traveling, putting boundaries between locals and travellers. I use CS as a way to bypass these boundaries. I’m keen to know more local stuff, see how people are living their everyday lives in different cities.
I would also gladly host back in Budapest in my lovely studio right in the city center, Buda side!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My final project during the master studies was an edible AK-47 riffle made from 4kgs of gummy jelly. It was a visual metaphore of my own impressions living as a child during the 90’s Yugoslavian conflicts.
Here’s an interview with me, and a few more artworks:
