About Me

I have a deep passion for learning languages. As a Hungarian, I have already lived in several different countries including Spain, Argentina, France, and currently Germany. Each of these experiences has given me the opportunity to immerse myself in new cultures and learn new languages.

Currently, I am also in the process of writing my master thesis. This has been an incredible opportunity for me to explore my interests and delve deeper into my academic pursuits.

In my free time, I absolutely love dancing. It's a passion that has been with me for years, and has now become my profession. I feel so fortunate to be able to pursue a career doing something that I truly love. It's amazing to be able to turn a hobby into a dream job.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the main reasons I use Couchsurfing is because I have a deep passion for travel, particularly for dance. When I travel to new countries, I always try to seek out opportunities to connect with the local community and learn more about the culture. Through Couchsurfing, I have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world who share my love for dance and can show me the best local spots for music and movement.

Another reason I enjoy using Couchsurfing is because of the frequent seminars and workshops that I attend. These events take me to different cities around the world, and Couchsurfing provides a convenient way for me to find accommodations while also connecting with locals who can show me the hidden gems of their city.

I find that staying with locals through Couchsurfing provides a more personal and authentic experience than staying in a hotel. It allows me to learn about the local culture and customs in a way that I wouldn't be able to as a tourist. Plus, it's always great to make new friends and connections from around the world. While I do enjoy traveling solo at times, Couchsurfing provides a unique and enjoyable way to be surrounded by like-minded individuals who share my love for exploration and connection.

Interests

One of my greatest passions in life is dance. As a dance teacher, I am able to share my love for movement with others and help them discover the joy of expression through dance. Along with teaching dance, I also instruct classes in Pilates and other sports activities. I believe that exercise and movement are essential for overall health and wellness, and it brings me great satisfaction to help others stay active and engaged.

Aside from dance and sports, I also enjoy walking and running. Though I haven't been able to run recently, I hope to pick it up again someday. Additionally, I have been playing the piano for years and hope to find more time to dedicate to this passion in the future.

Languages are another area of interest for me. I have a natural curiosity about different languages and cultures, and I enjoy learning new words and phrases whenever I have the opportunity. In fact, I am always seeking out new language-learning opportunities and am very patient when it comes to the process of learning a new language. I also love teaching others languages, as I find it to be a rewarding way to connect with others and share my passion for languages.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most incredible experiences of my life was when I decided to move to an entirely new country, with no knowledge of the language, at a young age. I was determined to broaden my horizons and explore a new continent, despite the challenges and uncertainties that lay ahead.

Moving to a foreign country was certainly not an easy decision, but I felt that it was an incredible opportunity to push myself out of my comfort zone and embrace new experiences. I was excited to learn about a new culture, immerse myself in a different way of life, and improve my language skills in the process.

Living and studying in a foreign country proved to be a difficult but ultimately rewarding experience. I had to learn to adapt to a completely new environment, make friends with people who spoke a different language, and adjust to cultural differences. Though there were times when I felt overwhelmed and out of my depth, I persevered and ultimately grew immensely as a person.

Looking back on my time living abroad, I am proud of the incredible journey I took and all that I accomplished. I learned to be resilient, independent, and adaptable, and I now have a deep appreciation for the challenges and rewards of living in a foreign country. The experience of moving to a new continent with no language skills was truly incredible, and I will always cherish the memories and lessons that came from it.

I would love to repeat this experience in new countries as well and expand my horizons in this way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a guest, I understand the importance of being a respectful and considerate visitor in someone else's home. I strive to be a polite and friendly houseguest who is easy to get along with and who takes care of the space in which I am staying.

In addition to being a responsible and respectful guest, there are several things that I can offer to hosts. Firstly, I am an avid language learner, and I am always eager to share my knowledge of languages with others. Whether it is practicing conversation skills or helping with language homework, I am happy to lend a hand and share my love of language learning.

Another thing that I can offer to hosts is my willingness to learn and expand my culinary skills. While I do not have extensive experience with cooking, I am eager to try new recipes and learn from others. I am open to suggestions and happy to collaborate with hosts in the kitchen, whether it's preparing a traditional dish from their culture or experimenting with something completely new.

Finally, as someone who enjoys being active and outdoors, I can offer my companionship on walks, and other outdoor adventures. Whether it is exploring the local area or going for a jog in the morning, I am always up for getting out and about and enjoying the natural beauty of my surroundings.

In short, as a guest, I can offer my respect, consideration, language skills, culinary interess, and love of the outdoors to my hosts. I believe that by sharing these things, we can create meaningful connections and enrich each other's lives during our time together.
