My name is Anna and I am 24.
Just a short impression of myself: I think I am an openminded person, who loves having fun with good people and loves to get to know new ones. I love doing sports (Volleyball is my favourite), doing some music or hangig out with friends. oh and university. I study English in Bochum, which is located in the west of Germany. It's very nice here, architecture is not very beautiful around here but the people around that area here are just awsome!
What else can I say about me?
My roommates say I do quite well in cooking and also baking (if this is important:P). Food is something very important to me, I love trying new things and get to know most local food as possible.
I am more or less not politically interested. Of course I have an opinion to most of the stuff and i am fine, when someone wants to talk, but I am not really into this topic

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a good oportunity to meet new people, who are in a way the same, concering travelling, meeting new people and see nice places not only from the "tourist point of view".
Meeting people from all over the world is a chance one should take.
When there is time for hanging out with each other it's more interesting than exploring places and faces on ones own with no one local helping you. or enjoying a wine or beer together. Or some good music. Whatever the moment is giving to us.

Centres d'intérêt

When I am asked about my interests, I often just say: sports, friends, music. Classic. But in fact, that's what i like. I like my people here, my team and the music, that accompanies my life in most situations (I also play a bit guitar and piano to make my own background music).
Food is also a good stuff (but when telling people I like food, they think of me as a person who is always eating. I am not;D Just enjoying it!)

Music: everything one can dance to. Metall is not my favourite music but I would never postmark someone due to his music or so
Movies and Book: I like tension! And at the moment I read and watch Sherlock. Game of Thrones (Book and series of course)is also a good drug!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

When we went to New York with a student exchange programme we went on top of the Empire State Building. I will never ever forget that view and the feelings it gave to me. Amazing!

I can offer a couch in a flat, directly located in the Bermuda3Eck - a nice spot with lots of bars, pubs, food (as long as it goes fine with my roomies...exams and that stuff..), parks in our direct neighbourhood, a nice roof to chill relax on and watch a Ruhrpott-Sunset and a short way to public services (main station about 5 minutes walk). train connections are brilliant (except that the Deutsche Bahn is always delayed) and Düsseldorf Airport is about 1.5hours away. Cologne-> 2h. Essen-> 15min. Dortmund->10 min.
I would also love to share the beer, brewed in Bochum. It tastes very nice!
