After travelling around and successfully avoiding to start studying, I'm now in my fifth semester of "landscape ecology and nature conservation" at the university in Greifswald.
When leaving highschool I was tired of theoretical learning and couldn't imagine sitting in a class again any time soon. Working on farms, in a national park, for a fisher and for basket braider, in a family and at a hostel tought me an awfull lot and I wouldn't want to miss the places, moments and people I encountered on my way.
At some point though it's time arriving somewhere and Greifswald is a good place to arrive at. It's tiny but cute and absolutly worth a visit ;)
Althogh some people imagine Eastern-Germany as vast fiedls mainly (whichis true for some parts), there are patches of wood, and of course the sea is close, with its very natural, uncrowded beach. And there are cafes (ok about 3 but 2 of them are great), there are talks/workshops/KüFas (kitchen for everyone) and as environmental activism has been an ever increasing factor in my life it really doesn't get boring here.

Because every city looks the same, if you are only doing sightseeing.
What I search for in travelling is not selfies in front of the Eifeltower but stories. Of unknown places, foreign cultures and strange adventures. And the only one to tell you those are people. People like you :)
