Hiya!

I've just finiahed traveling through South Africa and now my partner Adrian is joinibg me as we visit the Italian countryside. We've both been to the larger Italian cities before and now we'd like to see more of what the country has to offer.

I grew up in Missouri but moved to Chicago for college and decided to stay living there after graduation. I love the people in my home town, but the city suits me much better than small town mid-west USA. I lived in Milan for four short months and realized that I've got a lot more traveling to go before I feel satisfied. Adrian was born and raised in Chicago, writes music, does photography, and is an excellent vegan cook. Now we live together in Chicago and hope to get a dog once we return to the states :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Why couch surf?
Because being able to stay in a home vs a hostel offers the piece of mind that truly allows me to enjoy my travels. There's something invaluable about being able to come home to a HOME where I know that my belongings are safe, and not have to plan so much around a check in/check out time.

In order to be a good guest, I like to play a little game called: leave your environment better than how you found it. This idea means that along with leaving your bathroom, kitchen, and living areas cleaner than when I arrived, it also means leaving you with a few more laughs and a gratifying hosting experience.

As for time spent during the stay, I really prefer to explore and be independent on my own. My travel style is literally walking around neighborhoods all day and spending too much money on food. I'm not big on staying out too late because I just love sleep too much.
