Hi my name is Anna I'm French & Spanish and I live in Calgary, Canada.
I love travelling and meeting other people. I love sharing my knowledge about french cuisine, wines, and cooking.
Nothing is better than a bottle of red wine and good conversation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Traveling is my passion at 18 I couchsurfed in the USA during the summer 2008 for a month. Discovering a town or a country with a couchsurfing has always been such a great experience.

I hosted and couchsurfed in Germany, France, USA and Canada, my best experiences were when friends I met through couchsurfing could travel the other way and I was able to host then in France.

Interests

I love reading and listening music. Enjoy doing yoga, reading and meditating. I enjoy going out with some friends for a drink and good conversation. I love big cities and I really enjoy travelling to discover the world learning new languages and meeting people from different cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A while ago I went to Paris for Christmas, my Best friend and I met 4 Americans at the restaurant call "In the dark" it's a restaurant where you eat in the dark. At our table they were 2 couples of young americans and we start chatting in the dark. After the restaurant we made a tour in Paris by night, it was wonderful and we took a coffee in a French brasserie. We spoke so much and it was just like we knew them for so long.
We became friends and we met again to visit the Louvre together and an other time before they left France.

Couple years later I was able to visit them in Alabama, and they were such wonderful host. We kept in touch for many years and up to now.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a very happy and positive person, I like sharing my positive way of seen the world with people. I spent 3 years in culinary school in France, I like cooking for people and I can teach French cuisine. I love learning about other people.
