ABOUT US

I am a PhD student in the field of mechanical engineering. I study at Tel-Aviv university together with my husband Pavel. I have a large water tank in the lab, where I make waves and measure them. I love science! Besides science I like music. My husband plays guitar, I play ukulele and we sing together. I'm also fond of different languages and cultures, can listen and read about traditions for hours.

PERSONALITY

If you ask about personality, I'm an extrovert and can't live without people. I'm very communicative and talkative. To be honest, sometimes it can be annoying, but I try not to go over the line.^^ I have a lot of funny stories to tell you at any time you like. My husband is a moderate and clear-thinking man and we complement each other extremely well. He has a good temper and can keep a conversation on any subject.

INFORMATION FOR HOSTS

We spent bigger part of our life in dormitory (and still live there), so we are used to live with different people, and know very well the rules of peaceful coexistence in one apartment. We don't smoke. We don't make noise at night. Usually our travels are connected with our work - conferences, workshops, scientific meetings. But sometimes we have two or three extra days for sightseeing. If you have free time, we would be happy to spend it together - go for a walk in the city, have dinner, or maybe bake a cake and play guitar at home.

Many of my friends and university mates now live in different countries. I think this site can help us to stay in touch and visit each other, enjoying company of good old buddies. And maybe find new friends.

MUSIC

Folk, Irish music, jazz, rock-n-roll, classics, ballads, french chanson, musical films and different kinds of romantic music. We'd love to learn new beautiful songs in any language!

MOVIES

I'm not very fond of movies. But with couple of good friends and a bowl of yummies - I'm in!^^

BOOKS

If we don't talk about literature related to my job, I prefer classics, fairy-tales and Sci-Fi.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Wrote my Master's Thesis and passed all exams without attending lectures. During two years I was working in another city and studying simultaneously. Then, I arrived to University, successfully defended Master's Thesis and in one hour left to a conference in UK!

Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe

I'm good at mathematics, paper folding and origami (especially kusudama). Also I can give you some lessons of Russian language.

If you wish I can bring some souvenirs from Israel, based on your interests. If you like music and have a guitar, we can make a musical evening for you and your friends. As for cooking, my husband loves it! We can cook for you traditional food of different countries.
