About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Understand our universe, solve the biggest mysteries and problems of mankind, make someone happy every day (:
ABOUT ME
I'd say I am an uncomplicated upbeat girl who aims to achieve something in her time on earth.
By that I mean I'd like to help, the world, the people, animals, in order to make our planet a better place. Sadly I am not quite sure how to do this, so if you have any idea don't hesitate to drop me a line (:
PHILOSOPHY
A smile goes a long way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been active on cs for quite a while but had a shared account with someone special in my life - well we all know every now and then it's time for a change, therefore I am creating my own account now (:
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had a couple of lovely cs experiences hosting wonderful people back in Göttingen and spending time with just as wonderful people, e.g. in Paris.
Interests
Most of my time I spend doing research in different areas of theoretical chemistry and physics which I find highly interesting. I love reading books, articles, poems papers - whether educational or entertaining ones. Also I enjoy being outside, and to be honest I don't mind rain, even though I do see the benefits of sunshine ;)
I couldn't imagine life without music, hence I play the guitar - rather poorly, but it's good fun still and I also love to sing, which I am even less talented at.
I enjoy most kinds of sports, especially bouldering, football, (beach-)volleyball and swimming and I'm always up for trying something new.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love books, I read loads of them so it's easier to name my favourite authors: Neil Gaiman and Jonathan Stroud. I also enjoyed Immortality by Milan Kundera, No Country for old Men (Cormac McCarthy) and Chronicle of a Death Foretold (Gabriel García Márquez).
Movies I really like are for example Benny and Joon, Donnie Darko, Shoot 'em up and Eagle vs Shark.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Oh there were quite a couple actually and I am glad this is in here, because you really want to write those down in order not to forget about them.
I am a big fan of nature so it shouldn't be too surprising that the most memorable moments in my life have sth to do with being outside, for example the view of Chemuc Sampey in Guatemala after climbing up the jungle in the steaming heat and humidity for hours. Or walking the Cape Brett track in New Zealand with stunning views of the Bay of Islands.
Teach, Learn, Share
I mentioned I play the guitar but I'd probably be a better student than teacher, I think what I would like to share most of all is my positive attitude towards life and things that happen. And I would very much like to learn about how you live your life, and how you contribute to the well being of our planet.
