About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Based in Beijing, China.
I do lots of stuff, but I'm still trying to find a purpose for this life.

ABOUT ME

Joy, peace & love.

I am a natural traveler - I can't help going out and around, and explore everything. I need to see the world, discover what is it beyond our doors, and our so-called borders. I even find pleasure in exploring my own hometown, from different perspectives every time.

For this life, I aim to live in every and each continent of this world - setting foot in them would never be enough to fully understand their people and traditions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I first decided to start traveling on my own, I was totally scared. I was afraid about budget, getting lost or being stolen, dealing with emergencies abroad... Oddly enough, I wasn't worried at all about being alone. I knew I would meet people along the way, in hostels, in bus routes... I just had to leave my shyness home. And I did it. It was the best experience I have ever had. It changed the way I see the world and I have traveled alone ever since.

I believe CS to be my best ally when I start these adventures. I know allowing someone in to your place may seem dangerous at first, but experience proves it wrong - at least it has to me. It's not about sharing a couch, but learning about someone else's lifestyle, and traditions... even if that person lives only two blocks from you.

I am up to hanging around with CSers in the places where I travel to, and when a guest, I am the most respectful individual you may encounter. I understand the confidence that my host has awarded me with, and I am endlessly grateful to them for letting me be part of their daily lives.

I will always try to leave only footprints and good memories, and meet other travelers as long time no see friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first surfed in February 2015 along Viet Nam, and that was by far the most amazing experience I've had in my entire life... so I decided I was repeating again soon. I have recovered faith in humanity after meeting all these people who kindly agreed to host me, recommended me the best restaurants and street food, and offered me any free time they had. There was something really special in all of them that made me realize it takes really little effort to make someone smile. With a simple gesture they cheered me up after every bad experience I had during the travel, or generously offered me to come over their hometowns to celebrate the Lunar New Year, so I was continuously overwhelmed by their generosity and kindness. If you ever start couchsurfing, do it in Viet Nam, you will never regret it!

I have couchsurfed in Viet Nam, Japan, and Belgium. Looking forwards to new adventures in Indonesia and the Philippines!!

Interests

My recently discovered passion for yoga has turned up to become more of a lifestyle... and, above all, I try my best to find balance in life.
Except when it comes to adrenaline. I need some of this drug every now and then. Life is meant to be lived, right?
And eating. I love eating.
