ABOUT ME

I am outgoing and bubbly and I love meeting new people. I like learning about their cultures and background and trying out new things that are outside my comfort zone. I tend to find it easy to get on with people and I'm happy to help out if help is needed.

Everything that happens to me in life is my choice, whether good or bad, and all of those experiences make me a stronger person.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm happy to meet fellow travellers and show them around and I've stayed with a few couchsurfers abroad in the past. I'd like to do it more!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some lovely people through this website and have even made some life-long friends, but I haven't used it as much as I'd like recently because of my busy job and lifestyle in general.

Interests

I love travelling and learning languages - I'm currently trying to add Spanish to the list. I also love all things active, be it sports or outdoor activities. But I do enjoy quieter things, like watching good films and cooking, reading and writing and generally spending time in good company.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies and music, especially the less well-known stuff. I really enjoy going to live gigs. It would be too difficult to mention all the things I'm into, but when it comes to music indie/acoustic tends to be a safe choice, and so is not-very-hard rock. I also love Spanish guitar, salsa music, tango music, gypsy tunes and other traditional things. I don't like crazy metal bands in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing my first temple in Thailand, seeing the sun rise from a mountain viewing point in Italy, looking down at the lights when landing in a new city in the middle of the night.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love languages, so anything involving a language exchange is perfect for me! I am learning Spanish, and I speak Russian, English and German. I love trying new activities, so any active sports/camping/survival-related thing is great! I also enjoy creating, be it cooking, arts and crafts, or creative writing, and I'm willing to exchange any of those skills - learning something new is always worth it!
