ABOUT ME

People always say they regret not taking a year off to travel while they were young, but I don't like the idea of regrets. So I'm jumping on a plane and seeing where it takes me. I'm always down for a dance, a casual beverage or eight and a chat about anything. I love to meet new and different people and broaden my outlook on life. I'm a girl of comfort over anything, and will always be that girl rocking the dance floor in vans rather than heels, just because i can. I'm a lover of music (especially local Australian bands), and am always down to go to a gig of someone i've never heard of. I love the feeling of just doing something with the logic of 'why not?' because those are always the best memories, and that is exactly what has led me here.

PHILOSOPHY

Do it when you're young and can get away with it, deal with the consequences when you're old and content with the memories of your youth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to couch surfing so haven't yet participated, but am looking to surf couches and meet new people! I can't currently host anyone because i'm about to jet set off for the rest of the year (at least), but when i return to Melbourne I'll be more than happy to show you around the great city, and maybe even up it to a bed over a couch.

Interests

I love music and although i cannot play any instrument, sing or dance, i give it a go anyway.
I love food, and am always up for tasting new flavours, although i cannot go past a good slice of Vegemite toast.
I love art and architecture, especially art deco.
I'm a history nerd, and cannot get enough of WWII and classical history.

I am a blank canvas, I have a beginner standard on art, and music, but would love to be able to play the guitar. I can only speak English, so I would love to broaden that and learn any language.
