As my PhD is finally coming to an end, I'm very much looking forward to travel the world with my boyfriend Alex from December 2016 until August 2017. We're really looking forward to meet people all around the world via Couchsurfing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So far, we have never tried to use couchsurf. This is changing as of now. Alex and I like airbnb quite a lot, as it's such a nice way to really get to know local people. Sadly, in many countries, airbnb is flooded with commercial offers which have nothing to do with what we like. Hopefully, couchsurfing is different :) Also, when we come back, we'll both get real jobs and hopefully move to a flat where we can actually host people ourselves. Before, that wasn't really possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been at two David Garrett concerts, at the Grand canyon and I've removed the nucleus from a cattle ovum with a self-made micropipette (that's what you do before you can generate a clone) ;) Can't decide which of the three was the most amazing.
