ABOUT ME

I moved to Humboldt County four years ago after I received a job offer in a beautiful place that I could not resist. I will be here for a few more months before moving to Europe with my girlfriend. Where I'll go and what I'll do? I'm not entirely sure. That's why I joined couchsurfing; to get ideas and inspiration from others who have done the same. It would be nice to do something relevant to my career but the idea of working on a farm or teaching English sounds appealing too.

During my free time I skate for the local roller derby team, hike, garden, hang out with friends, see live music, drink local beer, and I often make it back down to San Francisco to visit my family and friends.

Folk, Bluegrass, Oldies. Honestly, I listen to anything.

Right now, I REALLY like this band from a tiny town (population 33) in the Trinity Alps. They're called Slapshoefly. But you can't find them anywhere online. Don't worry, I'll burn you a CD.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I raced 2,500 miles across the Pacific Ocean on a sailboat with my Family when I was 17 years old.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can put a roof over your heads. We prefer to host mostly on the weekends, and to individuals who don't plan on hanging around the house much, as it is a small space. Although, we are social people, and of course exceptions are made from time to time.
