I love to travel, encounter new experiences, meet new people, get to know different cultures, taste new meals. I want it all , but balance is of importance so when not traveling I like to dedicate my time to my friends, my family and my culture.And because I like to live a healthy lifestyle any sport activity is always welcome.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When learning about other cultures I also like to share a little bit of mine. As they say: It takes two to tango.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard about couchsurfing before, but it wasn't until a fall break during my Erasmus in France when we wanted to go to Bordeaux, when my friend introduced me to it. It really was a blast, I never thought traveling could be even more fun.

Interests

I love to be active and to be surrounded by positive people while doing that. I love active tourism, any kind of sport, in particular in winter it is snowboarding, skating and cross-country skiing, in summer cycling, swimming and diving, golf, horseback riding and roller skating during any season. I can appreciate a good book, good movie or tv-series. I also like mushroom picking/hunting (It is very typical czech leisure activity. U just go to the forest and hunt for the edible mushrooms that are hiding in the forest underbush.) I love visiting castles of any type, the whole atmosphere of the place is so magical that I cant get enough. I love to dance, visit a music or theater festivals, have picnic with friends,cooking and baking, I even enjoy gardening.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can appreciate a good book. I like fantasy and mystery books a lot, lately I´ve read The Discovery of Witches and Shadow of Night, by Deborah Harkness. I cant wait for the third book to come out. I love the classics as Harry Potter, Eragon or Fallen. From time to time I do not mind a lighter reading in form of read libraryWhen I choose to watch a movie I prefer either chic-flick, comedy or drama. It usually depends on the mood. My music taste is very eclectic, I enjoy listening to the radio (my favourite so far is Österreich 3) which plays pop music, I like love oldies from 50s 60s ans 70s. Who doesnt love The Beatles ans Abba. Since I used to dance ballroom and latin I really love latino music as well as classic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The untouched and very divers nature of Mongolia from a horseback, that was the most amazing sight. I remember having the feeling of complete freedom as I was galloping through the green wonderland with the sun shining into my back, falcons and vultures crying overhead and wolfs and other creatures sneaking in the bushes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am fascinated by history. I love to hear as well as tell the local legends and stories. The history putts all u see hear and taste into a context that helps a deeper understanding of the experience. I enjoy a sophisticated conversation as well as light chatter.
