CURRENT MISSION

Find out what it is

ABOUT ME

I find just too many things too interesting. That's my illness. Life is too exciting to do only one thing, isn't it?

I'm studying at Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. I make videos, performances, installations. I can't imagine my life without music: I play piano and sing aaaall the time. In fact, as you can see, I love every kind of art. Life would be so boring without it. But the best experiences in life are travels; encounters with people different than me, but in a sense very very similar; learning about different cultures. As I am myself of a mixed cultural background I always look for an intercultural dialogue. I want to go everywhere and see everything and absorb the whole beautiful diversity of landscapes, cultures and languages. The world is so rich! I still believe people are good in general and each person can teach you something valuable.

I live in Warsaw and I love my city. It's a fascinating place because it gets more and more charming everyday, I can actually see it changing. It's not the most beautiful town in the world, but it still has its potential of becoming something new and special. This makes it unique. I was born in Japan, in Otaru, a harbour town in the far north, and part of me is always there. If you have a chance to visit my hometown, please go there. It's lovely.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to make something good for the world with everything that you do and live up well every second. Discover the world little by little. Improve it, if possible. Open your eyes. Good humour is a must. Yes, let's just laugh all the absurdities away!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm fascinated with this idea and I think it is a one step forward for the better world: it teaches respect and trust towards others and otherness in general.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I've had only wonderful experience and unforgettable memories. I've spent 2 fascinating weeks in Tuscany, a great weekend in Dublin, one wonderful day in Munster. I have met amazing people.

Interests

music, literature, art, travel, languages, society, nature, vegan cooking

I make art, play piano, sing, read a lot, watch films and plays, travel whenever I can, learn foreign languages and do whatever activity I find interesting enough.

I love the sea. My Japanese ancestors were fishermen, so that's probably why ;) I cannot live without seeing it at least once a year. There is nothing more beautiful. I really really really want to live by the sea one day.

I love nature and beautiful landscapes and I'm trying hard to care about the environment. I think we should be grateful for such fantastic sceneries we all have been born into!

On an everyday basis I'm vegetarian. I'm interested in healthy and natural way of living. I love vegan cooking. When I travel I love trying local food. Oh, I adore dry red wine, I do!
