ABOUT ME

Since we only have one life, I think it is an obligation to live every second of it. Therefore I feel the need to travel, make new experiences and make new friends. I love getting to know new cultures, languages and share some great moments with other people.

I love being outside, hiking, snorkeling or floating down rivers. Moreover I love having people over for a home-cooked meal or a real german beer.

I love to exchange nice travel stories and show you around town or - since I have a car - also the swabian alps or Munich ;).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

there are more than only one: backpacking Sansibar, roadtrip through California - Italy and also Namibia and Botswana. Driving a quad through the egyptian desert. Holding a Suricata in my arms. Working on bats in Ghana and Tansania..... and running and winning a 10 km city run after not having trained a day - yeah I am damn proud of this one - :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Show you around town and nearby spots that are not in every travel guide. I have a mattress (small mini-bed) I can offer and loads of cushions.
We could try to cook something together - might catch fire though - I am not the best cook.
We could jam a little bit or go to a jam session - jap, I have guitars and loads of other music instruments that are buried under a lot of dust (occasionally I will amuse my neighbors with actually playing one and sing to that - I can provide ear plugs).

I am very helpful and know a lot of people around the world , if you ever need some travel advice.
