ABOUT ME

I've been working as a teacher of English for 5 years now. My work is not just about language, for me it's a great source of inspiration, education (for me as well), it's about pedagogics and upbringing. My new interest - excursions in English around my native city.
I love cycling with a destination, long walks in any weather, dancing long to lots of music, nature, gardening, eco ideas, watching romantic films, reading, love my pet "dragon" ;) The latest book I've read - Dandelion Wine (in English) by Bradbury. It made my summer! A hymn to life!
I went hiking with a 20kg backpack for the first time in June 2015 around the Crimea... and I enjoyed it immensely!
I'm responsible and punctual, and learning to be more spontaneous and light-minded now))) I like being honest, I like people with a good sense of humour and an ability to solve problems with a joke

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from other countries, speak English, listen to stories, and try my showing-around-skills)))

Interests

My attention is often grabbed by nature and animals, sometimes people, just enjoy watching them all. I like reading (fiction, science fiction, classics, modern realism, psychology, pedagogics), swimming, cycling, badminton, doing cross-stitch, learning to knit now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, nothing outstanding. Riding a horse for the first time and seeing the clouds and sunrise through a porthole flabbergasted me.
