My name is Anna and I'm 25 years old. I raised and live in a wonderful place called south Germany, near the lake of Constance.
After I got my A- levels a friend and me travelled around New Zealand and I can say, that it was the best decision to go. We did a lot of Couchsurfing, so we met a lot of wonderful and interessting people. I've never felt that welcomed in a country. How I miss these times :/
Today I can say that these journey changed me a lot, made me much more confident and I'm so thankful that I had the possibility to go.

Now 6 years later I'm almost done with my apprenticeship to become a youth care worker (not sure if this is the right translation ;) )
Last year I travelled for the first time alone and it was great (never thought that :)) I've met so many wonderful people and never felt lonely.
So I said to myself let's do this more often and especially longer than just two weeks.
After New Zealand Canada was my next dearest wish. I'm planning this since 2014 and this year will be THE year! So here I am, wanting to explore Canada!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Because until now I made so many wonderful experiences with it and I like to get to know the people of a country.
I remember my first time doing couchsurfing...god was I nervous! But my friend was so confident and after the second host I absolutely loved it! Now I tell everybody to try it out ;)

I love reading and books. Especially Jane Austen's books, love storys and fantasy.
Besides I like books which have a historical background or a true story.
