COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

2014/2015 hosting some travellers in our lovely seaside town, see references for details.

2014 - Visiting Dublin and staying with a lovely Couch-surfing house. Enjoying bits of the city we wouldn't have seen - like a gig in an Oxfam shop

2012 Seeing Arcade fire with a guy from Spain, as I couldn't persuade any friends to come with me!

Films - pretty much anything apart from chic-flic rom coms, including: Mary and Max, Blade Runner, Toy Story 3, Garden State, X-men movies, Princess Mononoke, The Matrix, The Usual Suspects etc etc

Music - bits of everything, from Florence and the Machine to Rage Against the Machine, from The Monkees to Gorillaz, from The Cinematic Orchestra to Penguin Cafe Orchestra. Things that I play a lot of in my car include; Elbow, Arcade Fire and Electro Swing Fever, alt-j.

I love books - my favourite book ever is The Time Traveller's wife, but I will read anything that I can get my hands on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteered in a children's home in Nepal for 3 months.

I can teach people to juggle and other circus skills, I can share good books to read. Happy to talk psychology or feminism. Would love to learn spanish!
