About Me

CURRENT MISSION

After 5 months of voluntary experience in remote areas of Nepal I moved to Kiev, Ukraine, to assist in rehabilitating the country and overcoming a really severe human crisis.

ABOUT ME

I'm a traveler, explorer, observer and helper. I've started traveling at the age of 15 when first flew to US for a year as an exchange student. Ever since I've been traveling all around, meeting new people, discovering the world. Three years ago or around I started working in the International Development and that's what I'm currently doing. If I had to describe myself, I would say I'm adventurous, easy-going, responsible and open-minded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because hotels don't really contribute to your life story unless you make friends with a local personnel

Interests

I've been doing yoga for several years

I'm a reader and collect books I buy at bookshops in the international airports

I send postcards to my friends from wherever I go to in the world

I love cooking and have my own cookbook (of course, never published) where I collect splendid recipes I'll be using as a chief in my own restaurant in 15 years hopefully :)

Recently started writing a book... Well, what I know now inspiration is a key to be successful writing books. That's why I travel, for inspiration.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Woke up in the morning, had a skype interview with a Google recruiter, and the very next moment realized I won't be working for Google, instead I'll book a flight to Nepal, leave within next two days and have the most amazing time of my life there... That's what I did and where I spent five incredible months in 2014.

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess my greatest teaching experience was in Nepal when I taught English to local kids at school which wasn't really a school but a hut....Although I really enjoyed.
