One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, i haven't seen too much from the world yet. But i've seen so much beauty! Now i have only one story in my mind. We went to a trip with my uni's department of History to visit towns in Upper Hungary (now Slovakia. It were part of Hungary before 1920 you know). And we visited the beautiful St. Elisabeth Chatedral in Košice (Kassa). One of my friends started to talk about the stained glass windows: he said he has a new TV and he can choose the tune of the colours but there is a limit in it. And i was like: maaan, why are you talking about your TV?? But then he continued. "And as i see these beautiful colours... it's incredible isn't it? Like, you know, people made this beauty, too. Hundreds of years ago - even if modern day technology says that is impossible to be colours in our life like this."
Or something like that, it's so hard to write about it in English.
And after we went to the crypt to put a weath on Francis II Rákóczi's tomb. Then one of my teachers who has amazing voice started to sing our national anthem, we sang it together of course, and it was very touching: stand next to a historical person's grave who wanted the freedom of our country, in a historical town which also was part of great hungary and you know it meant a lot to me, still means, and i started to cry between the people i love so much i can't express. It was amazing and after we sang a hymn to Virgin Mary what was our previous national anthem 'il 1823. Okay i know it's not an exciting story, but it was fantastic and that moment gave me so much strenght. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I study archaeology, i always like to talk about it. I really like arts and i can draw too... I want to learn languages and talk with people who inspire me because i think it's a fantastic experience when you meet someone who inspire you even if you don't know him/her well.
