About Me

At the age of 16, I was travelling for the first time without my parents. Since this time, I'm saving every single penny for travelling.
I'm a really outgoing person. I love to talk to people from foreign countries, especially when they have got a story to tell. Unfortunately, I'm rather bad in remembering faces and names.
Moreover, I'm an open minded person (well, who's not on Couchsurfing??) I like trying new things, especially new food (although I'm allergic to about 50% of every new type of food I'm trying :D)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about couchsurfing about four years ago and thought its an awesome invention. Unfortunately, my mum didn't think its that awesome that her 16 year old girl invited two completely strange guys to stay with her in her room... Thats why I stopped accepting requests.
Now - more than four years later - I am living in my own apartment and started hosting people again. Unfortunately, university takes a lot of my time right now, so I did not host as much couchsurfers as I planned to in the last months. Still, I prefere to only host people when I have time to show them around and get to know them.
As soon as I've got more time (and money!), I am planning to surf as well, but until then, I keep hosting couchsurfers whenever I can because it enables me to learn more about other cultures and to meet new people from all over the world even without travelling.

Interests

Well, my passion is Slacklining...
I do also love climbing (but unfortunately, I don't have the possibility to do it that often).
And, as I mentioned before, I started dancing last year when I moved to Innsbruck, which became my second passion.
Well, I'm also able to ski - I literally grew up on the ski piste - but I'm not that kind of "ski freak" who is skiing every single day in winter.

When I'm not doing sports, I'm hanging out with friends, watching movies or talking to my friends who do not live in Austria on skype. Oh, and, of course, I love to learn new languages. Right now I am trying to teach myself some italien, but I am still very bad at it as I mix it up with spanish and french a lot...

Since my semester abroad in México, I am also obsessed with this country. I don't know what it is which fascinates me that much about it - I simply know that there is so much more in this country I want to see! Not even 3 months after coming back from my semester abroad, I had to go back for vacations, that's how much I missed it.
