Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Its a community that's full of wonderful people, spread all over the world. Local knowledge when visiting a new place can help you experience it so much better. We are almost finished with our cottage renovation and look forward to welcoming couch surfers into our home soon.

Interests

Hiking, sailing, sea rowing, snowboarding. Trying to learn the violin. At home I'm into keeping sheep, pigs, bees, hens and growing lots of fruit and veg. I love being self employed and when I do go away travelling I prefer to go for several months, do some work along the way and experience the local community and environment. I don't fly, which can make for interesting slow travels.
