About Me

Hi there!
My name is Anna, and I'm Hungarian. At this moment I'm learning biology at university. I'm an outgoing, open-minded person, and I have a huge passion for meeting with new peoples, other travelers, discovering unknown places, other cultures.
At my free time, I like to read, to go for a trip, AND traveling. And at my spare time, I learn paragliding :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, traveling isn't just about the sandy beaches, sightsee, but it's about the locals, nex people, forming friendships, other cultures. I started to travel as a WWOOFer, where I lived with another family for a while, helping them in exchange for the accommodation, company, and food. I liked it so much this way of travel, that I want to continue it. I would like to meet and get to know new people, tell our stories to each other, and enjoy ourselves.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
I'm a big fan of Tolkien and George R.R. Martin (but who isn't?)
I usually read fantasy novels, but I also like Stephen King, Merle, George Orwell. But I shouldn't miss Gerald Durrell from this list.
Music:
My absolutely favorite is Aurora Aksnes, Linkin Park. Besides that, I like some Hungarian band, who mix Hungarian folk music and pop/alternative rock. This can sound strange, but I can tell you this can be good! Maybe I have a little bit unusual taste of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It' more cute, than amazing, but one I have read a story to an Italian little guy, but I don't speak Italian, and he didn't speak English. I think it was unimaginably awful, but he enjoyed it so much, that he showed me another story, and at the end of my stay, I couldn't go anywhere without him around my leg. He was so cute.

What I Can Share with Hosts

It is hard to definite what can I share, honestly I don't really know what to write, but I'm eager to show some Hungarian cuisine and my stories.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy, Romania, Slovenia

Countries I’ve Lived In
