ABOUT ME

I'm probably what people call an animal person :) But I love & enjoy being around people too :)

Last year and the year before I've spent traveling and volunteering with animals in different rescues. In Scotland I worked with any kind of wildlife like badgers, foxes, deer, birds of prey etc.; in winter I worked in Australia caring for flying foxes in the tick season and in March I volunteered with cats and dogs in Bali. If I had enough money, I would probably do that my whole life :)

Traveling around, getting to know people and their stories, was an experience I never want to miss. I think I'm very lucky to experience all these things.

Now I live with my boyfriend Marten in Frankfurt and work as a vet nurse until I hopefully get accepted at vet school next year. I miss traveling and meeting lots of different people from different cultures. I had a great time couchsurfing, especially in Australia and Bali with some very open- minded and lovely hosts. Now that I have a couch, I would like to do the same.

I was just traveling around for quite a while, but now I keep my promise and offer my own couch to surf.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hand-rearing wildlife and releasing it back into the wild is pretty much the best thing I've ever done.

...and I caught a python with a laundry basket ... that was pretty amazing :D :D

Since we all inhabit the earth, all of us are considered earthlings. There`s no sexism, no racism or speciesism in the term earthling. It encompasses each and everyone of us, mammal, fish, human being. That`s what we should always have in mind while dealing with others, especially animals.
