About Me
Hi there!
I'm a South African passionate about adventure and social change. I grew up in South Africa but now live in lovely Brighton.
I work for a university research centre that does social care and mental health research, and before I moved to the UK i worked for a grassroots charity in rural South Africa, a management consultancy and a policy organisation.
I try hop over to Europe (and beyond!) to explore as many new places as I can. I love learning about how everyday life is in different places, and try to avoid tourist traps and travelling clichés…
Looking forward to making friends!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think traveling is not just about being a tourist in a city - it's about feeling what it is like to live there, and getting local perspectives. I am thus very keen to meet people who can give me a more genuine travelling experience!

What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a native English speaker, so if you need practice we can have great conversations!
