ABOUT ME

I was born and grew up in Zaporozhye, Ukraine, which is known as the home city of cossacks. Then I studied and worked in Kiev, did a project in Dubai, and now live and work in Switzerland.
I am a positive thinker, good listener, and like to explore new cities and meet new people. I easily make new acquaintances and enjoy organizing parties for my friends. I also love nature, hiking, biking, and canoeing -- but equally I like strolling in the city and finding the places I have never been before.

PHILOSOPHY

Live your life so that those in heaven would say afterwards: "Come on, do that again!"

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted back in my home country and surfed several times. It is really interesting how different countries have different CouchSurfing communities :)

Interests

I play the guitar, and also like reading, hiking and baking cookies. I am fond of Japanese culture (origami, anime, tea ceremonies), have translated manga, and currently try to learn Japanese. I am fond of handmade (beads/threads/leather/woodwork) and also would like to learn to work with stone sometime.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped from a bridge with a rope, flied on a paraplane, and touched Niagara Falls with my hand.
I played with a seal in Dubai Zoo, and would also like to see how they live in nature.
