ABOUT ME

I'm amazed how difficult it is to describe myself - well, I really like spending my time outside with friends and enjoying life as much as possible.

I like animals, ice-cream, good music, sports, exploring new places and making new friends, rock climbing.

I'm easy-going, creative, good humoured and active and there are a lot of places I would like to visit before I die. :) Well, I also enjoy sitting together with a glass of wine, to talk about everything and nothing at the same time. I like to learn new things, I am for example just about to learn a few things on the guitar (although it seems as if I'm not the most talented person).

PHILOSOPHY

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... it's about learning how to dance in the rain. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet new people while traveling around and also hosting. At the moment I'm in Ireland for three months, but afterwards I will gladly offer my couch for anyone who likes to stay with my flatmate and me :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't got so many experiences yet - but hopefully that will change very soon!
The first couchsurfing experience I made was in Ireland and it was great fun, so I'm looking forward to do it again to see a tiny bit more of the world and share it with great people.

Interests

I'm very passionate about life and try to enjoy every moment. A lot of things can make me happy: meeting friends, as well as making new ones, watching the sunset at the beach, hiking and exploring new places. (...) I also love to do rockclimbing because its challenging me every time I'm doing it.

There are all kind of movies I like. I'll just mention some examples: Wristcutters, Adam's Apples, The Educators, Veronica decides to die, Hotel Ruanda, The Motorcycle Diaries etc.

I like various styles of music, and I really enjoy live music. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have already made so many tiny, but still absolutely fantastic experiences on my travels. :)
I'm always impressed of the readiness of people, you barely know, to help others. Then there are moments, when you sit in ront of your tent on a totally abandoned beach, the sun goes down and you ask yourself: can there be anything more beautiful?
