Overview
About Me
I love to meet and connect with people in a real and honest way.
Joking around and laughing are part of that as well. I love to laugh :)
My life is full of music.
Since I am from a big family I´m very used to have people around me and enjoy that a lot but I realized that also being on my own is precious.
Of course, that's not enough to describe a whole person but here are some impressions for you to imagine me:
I love to sing, play violin and other instruments, be around my family and friends, experience the forest barefoot to feel the ground, play, work and spend time with children, laugh and enjoy the moment, dance at live concerts, wash myself in springs, go out to dance until sunrise, join activist activities, take care of other beings, volunteer for people in need, cook at the fire, jam and play music in the street, learn about realities and truths that are different from mine, listen, hold long conversations, question politics and society, get beyond my judging, be honest, sleep under the stars ...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Sharing is beautiful!
I believe that supporting human connections beyond languages, religions, gender, skin color etc... is one step to create harmony.
And of course, Couchsurfing is a very practical tool as well, for me to travel in cold countries or cities where sleeping outside is not really possible ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love every kind of music that is played with the heart and passion and that's quite a wide spread field.
Some ideas:
I had a Rock and Pop band before, playing Elvis Presley to Nirvana.
Later I joined a great percussion ensemble that played World music with a main focus on Latin tunes of Brasil and Cuba.
In that ensemble I met a guy who played Oud in an Arabic and Oriental band and I joined them, adding some Balkan tunes.
While living in Spain I made friends with many musicians and with some of them we started a jazz-swing-gypsy band project, mainly busking in the streets but also playing in bars and even recording an album.
Now I am studying Turkish vocals in the Netherlands.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two days hiking through the desert towards the dead sea with just 3 oranges, an avocado and loads of trust in my bag...
I eventually was invited by a beautiful bedouin family :)
Or, moving to Switzerland to work and life on a horse farm, driving horse carriages up and down the mountain without any prior experiences...
Now I understand the "horse-people", hehe.
