About Me
If you're using CS as a 'dating'/hookup app, I am sorry to disappoint but I'm certainly not the woman for you!!
Hello fellow couchsurfers!
-PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SENDING ME A REQUEST TO HOST YOU-
I'm finally at a wonderful stage in my life where I can begin hosting CouchSurfers (September 2024 onwards) but, due to the nature of my work/job (I work at a boarding school) I can only host solo female guests due to capacity and safety reasons.
I would really like to spend time with you during your stay but this will greatly depend on my work schedule. If I reject your request, please don't take it personally! It's more likely because I'm busy with work, I'm away or I already have somebody staying with me.
I can offer you sleeping bag and pillow to use on the living room sofa or hopefully a mattress on the floor (if I manage to get organised before the academic year hahaha).
...A bit about me....
I am very self-sufficient and respect the fact that hosts have their own lives and responsibilities (i.e. I don't need 'entertaining') but I would like to, naturally, get to know the person I'm staying with.
I come from the North East of the UK and have been traveling since I was 17. I'm a huge Erasmus advocate and am grateful it's taken me far and wide (see my photos) just please don't bring up #Brexit!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it's really easy to get downbeat about the state of the world and to not trust strangers etc but CouchSurfing helps raise my spirits and proves to me that there are good people out there in the world ❤️. I really want to experience life locally instead of on a touristic, surface level. I'm extroverted and enjoy personal conversations with interesting people. I love going to qwerky places off the beaten track and want to try new things.
Interests
I sing ALL the time. Do feel free to shut me up 😂
I really appreciate spending time outdoors (post hike pint, sign me up).
I like contemporary art galleries and especially love light installations.
