Overview
About Me
My name is Annabelle and I currently studying Politics and Anthropology in the south of Germany. In a few weeks my semester holidays start and that means that a pretty stressful time will finally come to an end and I have the chance to concentrate on myself.
I've moved some time ago for my studies and have lived in different constellations throughout this time, like some shared flats and now I'm living in an autonomous project with 29 other members, all living together in one house. I've moved around quite a bit since I've been living on my own.
Many years ago I discovered my passion for good food and cooking. This is mainly due to me changing to a vegan diet which has lead me to cook for myself since 4 years. I enjoy organic and fair trade quality and participate in foodsharing here in Germany. This means that me and other people regularly go to supermarkets and "save" food which would otherwise be thrown away (www.foodsharing.de).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hotels or holiday apartments are way too unpersonal and expensive. I like the idea of sharing and living with a local for a while.

Other than my excellent cooking I don't have any super high level skills but I am willing to help out whereever it is needed. Oh, but I do have my own little herbal garden in the kitchen which is probably the most beautiful in my town. Maybe I can show you how to plant some awesome cress ;)
