About Me
Hello, l'm Annabel from Aus and l've been travelling New Zealand for the past 4 months which has been incredible. I'm an Artist and 'explorer', l enjoy being outdoors, going for walks, second hand book stores are my weakness, love a good coffee in the morning and a beer in the evening. You can find all my likes and what not in my profile, l'm pretty much here to have a good time, experience as much as l can and meet some awesome people along the way.
(I'm a much more experienced couchsurfer than my account says, but at the time l was travelling with 2 others and we used their accounts instead of mine to request stays.)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
l see it as the best way to get involved in the places you travel to. There is nothing better than talking to/making friends with the locals because they'll give you the best experience/perspective of a place. I think that if anyone is crazy enough to open their home to strange vagabonds they must be a pretty genuinely kind soul, so l have faith in this system.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled to Thailand for a ten day service trip where l did volunteer work in an HIV/AIDS orphanage, a school for blind children and a Leprosy clinic/community villages. I'm not trying to put myself out there as a goody goody but this really was one of the best experiences/things l've done.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can have a good chat about climate change and the destruction of the planet for sure, but l'm trying to learn more, so l'd rather listen than share.
I can teach you how to make a cute little zine book thing out of an A3 piece of paper, that's pretty cool.
I've discovered my love for cooking finally, l make a mean banana, blueberry bread/cake (brake)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can sing you songs and draw you pictures and maybe take you through a yoga session. I can also help with all household duties and l don't need much or expect anything.
I'll try and bring a positive vibe to your home and do my best to help out whenever l can.
