ABOUT ME RIGHT NOW: I'm an English teacher currently living in Istanbul, planning a trip through the Balkans with my boyfriend. We're working together to discover amazing places -- he's writing a guidebook, and I'm doing illustrations! Yay!

ABOUT ME IN GENERAL: I got a major case of TRAVEL BUG while teaching English in the Republic of Georgia 2 years ago, and love this region of the world so much I want to marry land. Marry dirt. Eat dirt. Does anyone read this. Dirt Love. I am a Dirt Bird Woman. CA-CAW, CA-CAW! I want to see and experience as much as I can before returning to America!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am leaving Istanbul very shortly, but we have hosted more than a few people at our flat here. I decided to get an account of my own because I had such luck couch-surfing around Turkey with my friends! I met so many wonderful people in South-eastern Turkey, and through couch-surfing in Istanbul.

I hope to surf around the Balkans this summer :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Dudeeeeee, a university? Sweet. I can teach bodyboarding in wave-y oceans and simple English things, for example if you are a kindergarten. Also anyone can learn to draw. PEACE.
