ABOUT ME

I am a college grad figuring out what to do with my life. I was bitten by the travel bug early but have recently been able to go overseas. I love to get out my home town and see other places. I enjoy my job and love to continue to better myself in all shapes and forms.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life for God and I serve Him willingly. I feel that you should dare to be different and do what gives you a purpose. One thing that I live life by is a line from a Coldplay song.

Totally new to CS, but I think it is an awesome way to encourage people to get off their own couches and explore!

I have spent many nights on friends couches and would be happy to return the favor!

Interests

I am a movie and book fanatic! Those are two things that can keep me tied down. I am very interested in photography and learning more about it. I love going to concerts, sporting events, festivals, etc. I love to work with kids because they make me smile and put me in a good mood no matter what. I enjoy hanging out with friends and nights out on the town. I love new adventures and am always up for a road trip.

Music, Movies, and Books

I could watch over and over: Keeping the Faith, Pride and Prejudice, Star Trek, Timer, Home Alone, and The Sound of Music .

I could listen nonstop to: Joshua Radin, Coldplay, Muse, John Mayer, Eric Clapton, James Morrison, Nickel Creek, Iron & WIne, The Avett Brothers, The Beatles, U2, OneRepublic, Greg Laswell, and James Taylor.

I read like lightning through: Harry Potter, To Kill A Mockingbird, Summer Sisters, and Angela's Ashes. I also am working on Jane Austen and Jodi Piccoult. My favorite children's books are: Corduroy, Blueberries for Sal, Where the Wild Things Are, and Number the Stars.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I stood at the base of an active volcano. Never in my life did I think I would witness anything like that!!
