ABOUT ME

Hi my name is Anna, and I'm an adventuress, at the age of 15 I left home to live in Chile and have not been able to stop travelling since. I am currently a student at Vassar College in New York majoring in International Relations and Italian, but I am currently studying abroad in Italy. I'm easy to get along with and easy to please, chocolate and a sunset is all I really need, I am not too picky about sleeping on floors or couches, I just like the idea of meeting new people and making new friends while seeing the world. I love dogs (more than people lol jk) and am obsessed with farm animals particularly sheep and goats. I love to laugh and joke and talk and chill out in general over a cup of tea. I adapt to new situations very easily and have no problem with a little caos or disorganization, it makes things interesting. I am extremely outgoing and energetic and am a die hard morning person, sunrise and no sleep all the way. There might be lots of singing as i cannot hold in my joy of travel especially with new friends. I hold some very strong leftist views in life, particularly around feminism and queer rights and love a good discussion, political or otherwise. I just really love people and new places and travel and want to share experiences across the world.

Interests

DOGSSSSSSSS! I have an unnatural obsession with animals particularly dogs, I have a sense forthem, I can sense them from yards away, I have 2 dogs at home and love them dearly. I enjoy pop culture, mostly british boy bands ( I apologize in advance) and love fashion and makeup which doesnt always work with my adventure lifestyle. I like to write poetry and play with words but mostly just for myself. I dabble in art and writing from time to time but I really love sports. I play and love rugby as a sport and would love to meet other ruggers across the globe. I enjoying working out and staying fit and healthy, which usually includes some form of hiking or walking or rock climbing if possible. I LOVE photography but i'm not very good at it yet, so expect lots of pics to be taken, i'm working hard at getting better and would love to make photography a life long hobby. I spend a lot of time blogging and writing about the things around me which ranges from historical castles to the new shoes i just got. I enjoy just hanging out with friends and talking and eating new foods.

Music, Movies, and Books

kinda a nerd when it comes to books and movies, die hard LOTR fan, as well as a Song of Fire and Ice/Game of Thrones, and of course Harry Potter. I read mostly Sci-Fi Fantasy novels and love weird/creepy/terrifying movies and tv shows. On the flip side I read a lot of classics from High School reading lists, Great Gatsby, Life of Pi, Jane Erye, Things fall Apart, Heart of Darkness etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting stung by jellyfish in a cove in Cuba, during a sunrise hike turned skinny dipping. Probably one of the best days of my life, middle of nowhere on a cliff side hotel north of Havana, hiked up this tiny path into the woods and found a beautiful alcove, which turned out to be a baby jellyfish hotspot, best mistake i've ever made.

Jumping off a sand dune overlooking the ocean at sunset in Concepcion Chile, and rolling all the way down to the street below. My host parents wouldnt let in the car and i had to sit in a trash bag because they didnt want to get the car dirty.

Jumping off a boat where the Adriatic and ionian sea's meet, swimming into a lover's cave and then jumping off the extremely sharp rocks above into the ocean and swimming back again. We sat on the bow of the boat and watched the sun set over the sea and drank Sangria.
