ABOUT ME

I love to explore the world every time I have time and money to go. One of my passions is to visit new cities, strolling around for hours, drinking coffee, hanging out in parks and dancing the night away. Paris and Berlin are my favorites so far, but Buenos Aires is a close runner up... Ah the wine, the tango!
There's more to life than urban odysseys though, I also like exploring the nature by foot or horseback. But the most important thing about traveling that I come back to over and over, despite my attempts to go traveling alone to "find myself", is the encounters - the people! That's what always leaves the best memories!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I met someone through CS was when I hung out with a very nice girl two years ago in Buenos Aires. That made me discover how great CS is to meet locals and to get a much more complete picture of the country you're travelling in (and also to have a great time, off course!)

Then in 2012, I just hosted my first couchsurfer, Mona from Germany. It sure was crowded in the small flat I lived in back then, but it was definitely worth it! I had a great time getting to know a completely new (so nice!) person and also discovering my town and its surroundings anew, by showing them to her. Couchsurfing is absolutely a win-win!

In the summer of 2012 i travelled in France and several amazing persons took me in when I needed some place to stay on a short notice. Turns out everyone of them were very sympathetic and did their very best to give me a great time - either taking me out eating galettes showing me Bordeaux by night or by putting of studying to eat, drink and talk to me half a night instead :)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

My India trip in the summer of 2010. I've dreamt about going there for so long and finally I packed my backpack and travelled around in India for five weeks. I learned so much about the world and about myself!
