ABOUT ME

I am a fairly confused person. The bigger half is not always the same. Naive but very organized (as weird as that sounds). With a poor memory (thank good for photos and notebooks) and a true desire to be happy as much of the time as humanly possible. I don't like rain, except in the summer and i love winter light decorations. I hate 9 to 5 jobs and i want to learn to speak 5 or 6 languages at least.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm actually in the process of defining a life philosophy. What i know so far is that confusion is good, i should take life one step at a time, and be amazed as long as possible by everything around me. Still it feel like smth is missing before it's an actual life philosophy. And then it will need testing. I hope i'll have one before my 60's.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to give everyone a chance to actually see that life, the world and its people are beautiful. And although i know i can't see or meet them all, i'm gonna do my best to meet as many as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first (and only so far) CS experience is from surfing Clemens's couch this summer in Amsterdam. It was so much more then i expected. For me it will always taste like warm apple pie and sound like Norah Jones. Thank you Clemens for that.

Interests

I'm interested in learning how to ride a bike with one hand while holding an umbrella with the other, and learning french, and living in new zealand for a while, and sitting in the grass with a good book, and collecting stories, and figuring a way of backpacking through the world without an actual backpack.

I saw how a group of teenagers (strangers) knocked from door to door to all the houses on a street in a small town in the Netherlands, to find us (about 5 people) a place to sleep. House no 5 said ok...
