COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Its a small world. My mom made sure that my sisters and I traveled a lot. We have never been hotel people, for the most part--much more the road trips and camping type. My childhood is rife with quirky adventures of the "I'll make you pancakes in the morning if you PLEASE let us share your campsite" variety. The best place to camp is France, where they bring you croissants and au laits in the morning, direct to your tent. I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro when I was 15. On the same trip I did karaoke in Nigeria with scottish ex-pat teenagers and Korean business men with their local Yoruba escorts.
